One of the most important aspects to examine when you are trying to decide between different LPN programs is the amount of clinical experience that particular LPN program offers.  Clinical experience is time spent doing practical nursing activities in a real life environment, such as a nursing home or hospital ward.  Non-clinical experience is time spent in the classroom or doing lab work.

The reason for the emphasis on clinical work when it comes to selecting your LPN program is that this aspect of the training most closely matches the sort of activities you will encounter once you have qualified and have earned that first LPN job.  Don’t be fooled.  If the LPN program does not offer a good level of clinical experience as an integral part of the course then you should be wary of enrolling upon it.
